If you are unable to view the payments page, the problem could be the security settings in your browser or personal security software installed on your computer. You can lower the security setting in your browser while making the payment, or disable the security software.
Certain browsers, MAC IE and Opera in particular, are not always able to translate the SSL certificate from our server. You can try using a different browser, such as Netscape, to make the purchase. If you have any further problems making a payment, please contact us using the following link: http://support.A2Ztext.com/contact.php
I cannot login to the website because I do not have a Client ID
Only A2Ztext central accounts have Client IDs. You will have such an account only if you are using an API product (for developers). The Client ID is typically a 6 character code (3 letters, 3 numbers) that was sent to your email address when you registered.
If you have a A2Ztext Central account, but do not remember your Client ID, please contact our support team at http://www.A2Ztext.com/company/contact.php A communicator account will not have a Client ID. You can login without a Client ID at http://www.A2Ztext.com/login.php?csite=communicator FFN-Messenger users also do not have a Client ID. You can login at http://www.A2Ztext.com/login.php?csite=mpro To automatically visit this page, click on the “Buy credits” button on FFN-Messenger’s “Options” tab. I cannot access my Outlook contacts in FFN-Messenger.
There are a few possible causes for such a problem. FFN-Messenger will allow you to access the contacts from your Outlook or Outlook Express address book, as long as the contacts have a mobile number and email address specified.
If only a few contacts are not appearing, it is likely that you need to add email addresses for those contacts to appear. If you are not able to see any of your contacts, follow one of the procedures below : If you are using Microsoft Outlook:
Your Outlook contacts should then be visible. If you are using Microsoft Outlook Express:

When sending messages the balance is not immediately updated and the message status shows UNKNOWN in the Outbox. A2Ztext does not charge for messages on submission to our server, but rather on our submitting the messages to the appropriate carrier. Messages sent to obviously incorrect numbers, or that cannot be routed, will therefore fail and not be charged.
The credit(s) will only be deducted from your balance after the message(s) has been sent. FFN-Messenger will acquire the correct balance and message status by querying our server. The first query will be done within the first 30 seconds after submission and then typically at 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 and 60 minutes after submission. A manual update can be done by right-clicking the message status in the Outbox and choosing "Refresh Message Status." The balance indicator will show animation for about 30 seconds after submitting a message to indicate that it is being submitted to our server. Also, a busy indicator will appear next to the balance to indicate that the program is processing the batch sent.
How can FFN-Messenger be used for multiple users, i.e. to give access to all employees at a company, or all family members using separate computers? The account details and balance for the FFN-Messenger account is kept online with A2Ztext. This allows a FFN-Messenger account to be used from many computers by different users all using the same username and password.
The application can also be installed on many different computers. Note that the address book information is kept locally on the computer where it is installed. Users will thus be able to share an account balance, but not address book or outbox information. Different accounts can also be created - if required - where one user can generate vouchers to pass credits to other installations (accounts). These vouchers can be generated on the website and redeemed on the “Options” tab in FFN-Messenger.
How do I configure the proxy settings in FFN-Messenger? I cannot register - I have a firewall.
FFN-Messenger communicates via a protocol called HTTP with the A2Ztext SMS gateway over the Internet. Depending on your office or home network, your network administrator may need to give you proxy settings to allow this communication over the internet from FFN-Messenger.
If this is the case, one of the four available connection settings need to be set to allow communication. Your network administrator should advise which settings to use for your network. Below is a brief description of each option: Proxy server or IP: Proxy address - to be supplied by your network administrator. Port: Port number - to be supplied by your network administrator Where do I set these connection settings? You will then be able to configure your connection settings. These settings can also be accessed from within the “Options” tab after logging in. If these settings are not set, FFN-Messenger will use the settings that your computer uses to connect to the Internet, which will allow most users to connect seamlessly. If you need more information regarding this subject, please contact our support team.
I receive an “unable to communicate with server'” error. This error can be generated under the following conditions:
If you have a firewall installed on your computer, it needs to be configured to allow FFN-Messenger access to the internet. If you are on a network, you may need to specify your proxy settings. To configure your proxy settings, right click on the FFN-Messenger icon in the system tray and select “proxy settings.” You can then specify your proxy settings. The settings that you need to specify will be specific to your network. Please consult your network administrator.
The balance in FFN-Messenger does not decrease and/or shows a question mark after the amount, such as "2078?”. There are two possible causes for this:
This will occur if FFN-Messenger is currently set to work offline. To send your messages and see your updated balance, you must set the “work online” option in FFN-Messenger: After doing this, if you are connected to the Internet, your balance will update within a few seconds. If your credits are not decreasing, this could indicate that messages were not sent due to routing errors caused by unsupported features to a network or sending at charges that you selected to not use in your routing profile. If this is the case, you should see messages with “Routing error” status in your outbox. For further information, please contact our support team.
Initially you get 5 free SMS credits when you activate your account. Thereafter you will need to purchase SMS credits. Generally 1 SMS credit = 1 SMS message. However, in some instances, networks will charge 2 or more credits to deliver your SMS. Please view our SMS coverage page to get an idea of the credit cost of sending to your favorite destination networks. Our message credits are priced according to how many you buy. The more you buy, the cheaper it gets. View our pricing at the following link: https://www.A2Ztext.com/brochure/pricing
Click on the "Buy Credits" button under the "Options" tab. This will open up the FFN Messenger Website. You will need to login to the website using your FFN Messenger login details. You will then need to click on the "Purchase" link and then "Buy SMS Credits" in the fold out menu. This will open up a secure purchase window. Choose the custom number of credits, or custom price amount that you would like and then select a payment method either via Credit Card, Wire Transfer, or Direct Deposit. If paying by credit card, you will then need to fill in your details and submit. First time buyers will be asked to fill out credit card application form and fax it through to us in order to prevent fraudulent transactions
Under the "SMS" tab, the buttons to the right of the Message field offer opportunity to merge fields from your address book into your messages. For instance using the "Firstname" field will change your message from Dear #FNAME# to Dear Pete, Dear John, etc. by pulling the relevant contact names from your address book. Using the "Custom" merge field for instance you could personalize an account balance for each recipient which you could easily have imported from a spreadsheet on your PC
The "From" field is also known as the “Sender ID.” You can change this by clicking on the "Options" tab. At the bottom left side of the page is an "Extra Settings" field where you can fill in a name of your choosing as the Sender ID. Note: Sender ID does not work with all networks.
The so called "From" field is otherwise known as Sender ID. You can change this by clicking on the "Options" tab. At the bottom left of the page is an "Extra Settings" field where you can fill in a name of your choosing as the Sender ID. Note: Sender ID does not work with all networks.
Type in your message and choose a recipient under the SMS tab. Then, instead of clicking "Send," choose the "Schedule" button next to it. This will open up a new page for you to select a date and time for your message to be sent.
